Portable Hotel Rooms?

Over the past decade it has become increasingly evident that the travelling public enjoy friendly, comfortable, hotel accommodations that offer the conveniences of home. In some cases we request even more than we enjoy at home. Some travellers seek adventure and a lodging experience that challenges the imagination. Up until now we selected our stay in hotel accommodations located close to our needs.

What if we wanted to select a location to enjoy, but there were no permanent hotel accommodations available?

To provide innovation to the hotel industry, the Nordic Hotel chain Scandic Hotels launched Scandic-To-Go. They will provide a mobile hotel room consisting of two, 18 sqm units with an attached terrace. The rooms come with two 90 cm beds, a small seating area and amenities such as TV, wifi, and air conditioning as well as a fully equipped bathroom. The units are portable and can be shipped anywhere a client requests.

If you want flexibility and RV’s, or trailers is not to your liking, you may soon be able to choose your destination and book your hotel room to go anywhere you desire.
